A remarkable book with insight into the lives of ordinary though famous people. Mary was conquered by all the events in her life. She too was a casualty.

Very good novel about her life. I particularly enjoyed learning a bit about her life PRIOR to her marriage to Lincoln.
(This book focuses ALOT on her life before and after her life w/ Lincoln.... with what I thought was very little of her life w/ him)
