This book gave me a better understanding of how African American boys grave knowledge and the support that is not available to them. Also how their own community is afraid of bettering themselves even if it is to lift up the next brother or sister. People are not only afraid of failure but success also. This was an awesome read and definitely would recommend anyone with a male child to read this.
