I accidentally picked this up, wondering who Elijah Muhammad was. This ebook tells the story of the Nation of Islam. It includes Malcolm X, Louis Farrakhan, Muhammed Ali, and others. Undoubtedly, this is the most eye-opening ebook I've read from Hourly History.

I cannot adequately explain the uniqueness of this story. A mysterious man named Wallace Dodd Fard preached in Detroit and Chicago to African-Americans about their important issues. After the FBI and local authorities started pressuring Fard and the Nation of Islam leaders, Fard permanently disappeared after placing Elijah Muhammad in charge. Elijah turned the struggling movement into a powerhouse organization. The story is too complex to condense into a few paragraphs. I encourage everyone to read this thought-provoking story.
