I cannot adequately explain the uniqueness of this story. A mysterious man named Wallace Dodd Fard preached in Detroit and Chicago to African-Americans about their important issues. After the FBI and local authorities started pressuring Fard and the Nation of Islam leaders, Fard permanently disappeared after placing Elijah Muhammad in charge.
