Maggie Bennett is stunned to hear her mother is in a coma after her boyfriend tried to kill her. Maggie and her sister, Holly, are quickly on the trail of Timothy Flynn, vowing to bring him to justice. But, they don't find Flynn in London. They find Randall Carter, Maggie's former lover. Maggie believes Randall killed her husband two years earlier. Now is her chance to get even.

I'm really split on my rating for this book. I liked the chase all over the world in search of Timothy Flynn. It kept my interest and forced Maggie and Randall to work together. I didn't like the romance portion of the story with the "big misunderstanding". When they finally talked and clear things up, Randall decides he has to walk away from Maggie "for her own good". I hate those kind of stories. So, I split my rating and went with 3 Stars.
