I know I was with the minority on not really enjoying this book. The beginning of it was really good and I was excited but after awhile, it just seemed to drag. The story line kind of went in circles and went nowhere fast. Most of the characters were okay but none of them really stood out and some were down right unlikable except for the main character. The fact that there were a lot of diverse characters was nice but the surprise on Denise's sister, Iris, really felt thrown in there and too forced. It was a struggle to stick with and finish and when I did I still felt not much had happened since the beginning.
