This book is a great lark. The writing style reminds me of The Princess Bride, and the story keeps you entertained right until the end. As soon as I finished reading it, I went out and got book 2 of the series. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK - it makes a great bedtime read-aloud for boys, too.

This book gets off to a VERY slow start. I almost put it down numerous times, but I'm so glad I didn't! The end makes it completely worth the time! The next two books in the series are even better. Can't wait for the fourth one to come out!
