This was an okay book - fast read and plenty of action but there wasn't enough development of the characters for my liking. It is like a Tom Clancy book in that there is government involvement, spies, revenge, and such but, for some reason, I was bored with it. Oh, I read it all but just didn't get into it like I do a Tom Clancy one.

Just an awful novel, the plot makes no sense. The book moves from one action scene to another without any thought behind what is driving the action. Characters are not developed beyond the fact that Dillon likes Bushmills whiskey, alot. Even the action scenes are lame. The whole book feels like it was written using index cards that were then stitched together quickly.

Another "sleek and intensely abosorbing" (Publisher's Weekly)novel of international intrigue. This is another Sean Dillon story. Dillon is an ex-IRA enforcer working for the British, but still with interesting ties back home in Ireland. A story of today's world of terrorism threats, family honor and intrigue.

Ex-IRA member Sean Dillon and White House security man Blake Johnson team up again (previously in "The White House Connection" and "Day of Reckoning") to save the President from terrorists who will die rather than surrender. Exciting.
