This was my first Harry Bosch novel, and now I'm motivated to start at the beginning of the series. The reader in this audio version was excellent, and the story was well-paced and satisfyingly concluded.

This is the first time "Harry Bosch" story for me.. It certainly won't be the last.
There were lots of twists and turns, keeping me interested, and some surprises, too.
A really good narrator kept me wanting to keep alert, and not wanting to put
the story down..

Great detective story. The long awaited end to a brutal murder mystery for Bosch. The twists and turns are interesting, keeps you wondering and pondering the who dun-nit and keeps your attention through out the whole book.
If you are listening to it, great reader just wished he didn't lower his voice to a whisper on certain characters.

This is the second time I've read this book and it's still just as good. Plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing, as well as action to keep the pace up. Harry Bosch is an excellent copy and doesn't back away from the bad aspects of his job...and doesn't hesitate to do what's needed to be done for real justice!
