I'm a big fan of Top Chef although not a cook myself, so I was drawn to this book. It was quite fascinating reading about the author's experiences as a food critic and all the interesting stories she had to tell of her travels. This book will be especially interesting to people who like to try many different foods and to hear about what the author considered the best and worst of foods throughout the world. It's a quick read because it's so interesting.
