Tosca Reno writes a easy to understand book which will change your body if you have the will power and discipline to eat clean. She really makes a wide variety of foods off limits and pushes fruits, veggies and lean meats with a little dairy. I like Tosca and see how her plan would change your body and your life, but find it a little to strict for the average person to live with.

I picked this book up on the suggestion of a few people as having great tips and tricks for eating clean in the real world. Man was I sorely disappointed! The book is an easy read, but actually following Tosca's way of eating would be impossible for anyone who lives in the normal world. Having to carry a cooler, not a lunch box, full of food and eating every two hours won't work for most people in the work force. I also found the recipes bland with little room for "clean" substitutions. And while this book feels you should not be counting calories you can't tell me her clean cookies that weigh in at 400+ calories a piece are healthy. I don't care what you put in them, at that amount it just can't be good. Don't waste your time being disappointed.
