It's Not Easy Being Green and other things to consider
Author: Jim Henson, The Muppets and Friends
The words say "It's not easy being green," but the song is about knowing who you are. And in it you hear Jim's message most clearly. He believed that people are good and that they want to do their best and that no matter how or why we might be different from anybody else, we should learn to love who we are and be proud of it. -- Ray Charles

Jim Henson was just an amazing person and this sort-of-biography walks through his life phases. It includes recordings of The Rainbow Connection and Bein' Green. There are sections read by John Lithgow, Whoopi Goldberg, and Cheryl Henson.

Some advice is timeless and just about everything in this book lives up to that thought. Definitely a great addition to the bathroom or reference book for heartwarming quotes.

Interesting book of Henson inspired Muppet wisdom. Also a pretty gift book. "Jim was the fellow who uncorked the bottle, you know. He not only uncorked the bottle, he also shook it up." Frank Oz

A cute little gift-type book for old Muppet-lovers. Each page has a different philosophy-of-life saying by Jim Henson, his Muppets, or a friend. No story, but thoughts about life, listening to your heart, childhood, determination, etc.
