Of all the Joan Overfield books I've read so far, I like this one the most. The plot is not the usual one set in the ballrooms or sitting rooms of the "ton." The heroine is a fiesty but not overbearing governess and the hero has a genuine heart. The reader gets to watch the two fall in like, then love. The plot doesn't get too much in the way of the love story (ha!). The ancillary characters in the book are also enjoyable. Overall, a good romantic story.
" A childs plight awakens a lord's nobility-but only a lady's love can heal his heart."
Very good romance- fast and quick.
