Not Grimes' best work, but still, if you're a Martha Grimes fan as well as her character Richard Jury, you'll want to read this interesting take on the character.

A young friend pulls Scotland Yard Richard Jury into the life - and death - of a wealthy bachelor. A very clever story with a profound twist. This book draws the reader back and forth - just as Richard Jury is - without a real clue to solving the case.

I sincerely enjoyed the whole series of these books. Light mysteries but no gore.
