Certainly lots of clever and witty entries, but not for anyone who is easily offended. Skewers lots of stereotypes (Connecticut is noted as "Home of New York's Other Population," but Arkansas is listed as "Where Second Cousins Are First Wives." The rest of the world doesn't escape the barbs: Algeria is "Terrorism's Farm Team," and Albania is "The Haiti of Europe." Every page is packed with colorful maps (cities are noted, but everything else is a joke: "Quaint spot for fish pulp (Finland)," or "Elderly Nazi thinking about coming out of retirement (Argentina)," photos, and flags. Note: despite the blurb on the front cover, this book does not actually include a free globe inside.
