So I read the preview of this book in the second of the series and was quite interested. Interested enough to go out and buy it instead of waiting for PBS. Sadly once I got beyond the preview I found the book to be completely boring. I couldn't understand why it was so difficult for the two to get together. Caskie seems to be hit or miss in this series.

First of all, this book was so poorly edited, my 5th grader could have done better. Sheesh!
I really enjoyed the first two books of this series. This one was OK at best. Could not relate to the personal turmoil the heroine went through. She encounters the hero in the library in the first chapter, and basically goes for it. Then for the rest of the book she is worried about honor and all that. So I just could not really buy into the conflict of the story.

I have enjoyed her books, the characters are fun, lively and have their own set of unique problems. This was a fun book showing how Lady Susan learned that she could do more than just be a lady of leisure. Fun series, wish it would have been completed before she passed away.
