Very good. I loved Green's Nightmare and Nightstalker series and this was true to form.

Everybody thinks Gaiman is great but Green is so much better!
I didn't know what to expect when I hose this book, but I love Green's Nightside, Deathstalker and Hawk & Fisher novels. In chronological publishing order, Drinking Midnight Wine was written before any of the Nightside novels, and you can see Green fleshing out the idea of the Nightside in this book. I am very glad I read it!
Enjoyed this book. This came out before the Nightside series and contains many references that Nightside fans will recognize. If you like the Nightside series, you'll like this book.
Entertaining and fun to read. I liked the characters, only wished that it lasted just a little longer than it did.
