An earlier book by Martin Millar, this is a very much more adult oriented book than the "Lonely Werewolf Girl" series. At just over 200 pages, the short chapters meld together quite well, and yet can stand on their own as well. It is overall quite light reading, and it does have a number of the hallmarks of Millar's works, such as his ability to find a way to wrap up the climax far later than any other author, yet doing it well.
