Interesting premise but driven into the ground. Four housemates, npne of whom is terribly stable, each plan an important event on the same night without informing the others. The resulting Alice in Wonderland / engagement / feminist seminar / coming out party mashup is full of puns and wordplay but goes on far too long.
I tried a couple times to get into this book, and I just couldn't. I didn't care for the main character from the get-go and it didn't get any better after a few chapters. Just not my cuppa tea, I guess!
