This was a great book looking back into the old days of frontier life.
I really liked the book and it was hard to put down. It was good to know it has a happy ending.
Brandy Ashton peddled homemade remedies to treat every disease from ague to gout. Yet no tonic could save her reputation as far as Sheriff Adam McCullough was concerned. Despite his threats to lock her up if she didn't move on, Brandy was torn between offering him a fatal dose of poison-or even more lethal helping of love.
When Brandy arrived in Charming, Oklahoma, McCulloough was convinced she was a smooth-talking grifter out to cheat his good neighbors. And he wasn't about to let her sell snake oil in his town. But one stolen kiss made him forget the larceny he thought was on Brandy's mind-and yearn to sample the innocence he knew was in her heart.
