Nope. Not going to read it. One and a half chapters and I hate the book.
Clever, well written fantasy with engaging heroine with her tongue planted firmly in her cheek.Nice descriptions and good action, a very enjoyable read.
I so dearly love Elizabeth Ann Scarborough's later works, that I went on a campaign to collect every book she had ever written. However, her earlier works are not as satisfying to me as her more recent ones. Practice makes perfect -- assuming this is the same author. Since I read this book quite a while ago, I am borrowing a review from Amazon.

Before I knew it I was nearing the end of the book! The writing is so smooth and the storytelling wonderful that I didn't want to put it down nor have it end! The characters are well written and the location sounds breathtaking.
