Only 86 pages long, it is a good introduction to Kenyon, if you have never read her before. "Fun, sexy and fantastically different" is says on the back cover and as with all Kenyon's books, that is true. A legendary dragon tapestry, an unnaturally handsome man who claims to be a dragon slayer trapped between worlds, and Channon, an Old English scholar determined to uncover the secrets of the tapestry she has been translating for years.

This was a pretty good read. I was afraid I wouldn’t like it at first because the beginning started out kind of sappy: Channon kept insisting, “I never do this kind of thing”, when she brought Sebastian home that night after just meeting him. Then she went on and on about how gorgeous he was for like 3 pages… alright, I get it already, the dude’s a hunk! Fortunately, the whole story didn’t continue in this vein and after they returned to Sebastian’s “home”, the action picked up. For a short 86 page story, there was a good amount of intrigue, history, and action. Though I’d classify it primarily as a romance of course, there was enough other stuff to it that it gets a thumbs up from me! :)

Plot Summary: A modern day woman meets a dragon shifter from another time. Romance and Sex ensue. This is a short book (86 pages).
Main Characters: Sebastian (hero): sexy, standard hero except for his sense of humor which is very good. And the fact that he is a dragon shifter. Channon (heroine): self described as average in appearance; intelligent, competent heroine. Impulsive but in a good romantic way.
Best About this Book: A quick romantic love story. For the number of pages, quite a bit of story is packed in. My favorite thing was probably the sense of humor: this book had several funny parts.
Worst About this Book: Because it is so short everything happens fast. Very fast. This isn't necessarily a downside but their attraction to each other did seem to be primarily physical rather than having more depth. Also, this book hit my pet peeve in romance: talk of/ having kids. Nothing against kids, I have three myself. All the more reason to enjoy fantasies that allow me a breather from thinking about kids! And they talk about it within 24 hours.
Summary: Despite the downsides this was an entertaining read. I enjoyed it while I read it, appreciated the laughs, but am happily passing it on. Not a keeper for me.

This very short story is charming. I would categorize it as a romance. Honestly I can't say too much about it because it would give it all away (since it's so short). This was a fun, romantic and humorous read. Very sweet.

A small story taken from an anthology "Tapestry". I had to buy this little book because it was part to in the Dar Hunter series.
