A kind of Dirty Dozen story told with a Turtledove twist. I really liked this book. The action sounded real and the story line was interesting. The only thing that bothered me was that the author himself tossed out some plot spoilers along the way. Nothing major but I think the story could have done without them. This is one in a series of stories written about this time line and I believe the rest would be as good and I intend to find out.
