Paranormal erotic romance, by Ellora's Cave author, Lora Leigh. This story takes place, in the middle of the Legacies series, and I haven't read the previous books. Coming into this world in the middle of the series, put me at a disadvantage. I didn't have the background, and the author doesn't do much to get the new reader up to speed. That being said, I really didn't like this book. Lynn is a psychic bodyguard to an important, sick woman. Alyx is an alien warrior, sent to help guard the woman. And, he is Lynn's bond mate. He has to convince Lynn of this. There are a couple of pretty hot sex scenes. Her womb clenches, her vagina clenches, and her fists clench. You get the idea. Thankfully, this is a short book, 143 pages. Didn't care for it.

While this was an nice steamy book, this short story fell a little short for me. This is supposed to be the third book in the Legacy series and introduces new Prime characters that I do not feel Leigh really explained. Its a quick read with lots sex as is typical for Ellora's Cave writers, but lacks the depth of the other books in the series.
