The seventh in the Xanth series. I enjoyed the storyline, in this one, a little better than a couple of the previous tomes. Though it seemed the author provided a generous helping of bad puns, which is part of the Magic of Xanth, they did not get in the way of the big picture. Dragon on a Pedestal will have you wanting to read the next novel in the series.

Mind you, It's been better than a decade since I read this book, but it's not bad. Book 7 of the Xanth series, before the series became a clearing house for readers to pawn off puns on the author. Not bad, but not exactly a classic either.
As usual a great book full of puns! VEry good!
The Xanth books are hilarious They are great as a stand alone read or read them as a series. They tickle your funnybone.
Yet another Xanth novel. This is the story of young princess Ivy and the Gap Dragon.

I love all of his Xanth books. They're innocent but fun.
