Good characterizations of the main characters, but I didn't care much for any of them. The whole story feels a bit contrived. Everything happens to a small circle of peopl, too many coincidences.

Satisfyingly complex mystery with a number of crimes being investigated by a team of professionals stationed in a community that's not too far from Melbourne but still has a rural feeling. Characters are well thought out and although not everyone's "story" is wrapped up at the end, it's sort of like life itself. (The title refers to an airplane Challis is restoring.)
