A light-hearted fantasy comedy, bordering on farce and satire, about three neurotic knights journeying across a typical fantasy setting, getting into all sorts of hijinks and mischief. This first volume is largely fluff and filler, hardly hinting at the series' overarching plot. Very likable, questionably sane main characters. Fans of fantasy looking for adventure and silliness will find it here. Yaoi fans may also have some interest in this series, as it's by a well-known yaoi artist (though this series is not, itself, yaoi).
This is the first book of one of my favorite manga series. It's one of the most intricate and exciting fantasy mangas I have ever read. The story centers on three young knights. Rath(the Dragon Knight of Fire and an avid demon hunter), Thatz (the Dragon Knight of Earth and a former theif with an immense appetite for wealth and food) and Rune(the Dragon Knight of Water and a former elfin prince). This motley crew answer to the Dragon Lord Lykouleon, a mysterious and powerful king.
This volume in paticulary contains the hilarious first adventures of the young knights.

fun books that read back to front
It wasn't so much bad, as much that it had such a cliched plot and such one-dimensional characters that it wasn't actually good. At least the drawings were detailed and well done, although the eyes bothered me. (They were over large even by manga standards)
