This was a great book to give a new perspective on the wisest man who ever lived, King Solomon. The novel follows his life from boyhood through old age and presents snippets of his writings and the circumstances that may have brought those writings forth. As Solomon becomes king, loses his parents, enters into treaties with neighboring countries and gains wisdom, wealth, and women, he struggles to maintain his love for Jehovah.
