This is a great book to have even if you're not on the Atkins Diet, but are just watching your carbs a la South Beach or the GI diets. Like everything Atkins, the recipes using cream, butter, meat, cheese are sumptious. There are great salad dressings, ice cream and cheesecake desserts. The faux pastry section is also typically Atkins -- it's hard to fake white flour.

It is very good with some great ideas
There are some great recipes/ideas in this book. I modestly modified several of them to reduce the fats and still lost weight. I just need to thin out my collection of cookbooks.
