3rd in the trilogy and really all 3 need to be read in order or this one will probably not be all that special. This trilogy is similar to the Mitford series by Karon in that it's set in a small town and a LOT of other characters are introduced. In this one June is preggers and Jim is all set to tie the knot but June gets cold feet and this drags on a bit :-) and of course if you've read the first 2 books you know there's more drama going on and some new characters introduced.
She tied this series up as a trilogy but in Virgin River(new series) she has a brief scene or two with the 3 doctors(June, her dad, and John, the ob/gyn - think the kids/spouses are in this one a teeny bit too) and in some of the other Virgin River books you get to see more of John when the midwife in that series needs help.

I always look forward to Robyn Carr's books. She is able to give life to everyday people who are special. Nice to go to Grace Valley for a few hours and read about her characters. Colorful and well written.
Grace Valley series is a very good series and will be a "re-read" one for the future. The characters and interesting and it captures small-town life just perfectly.
Love Robyn and the Grace Valley series is wonderful
LOVED IT! ROBYN CARR IS A WONDERFUL WRITER.... ENJOY EVERY ONE OF HER BOOKS SO FAR.
Last book in the triology. Not sure what one I would rate as the best. They all were AWESOME!!! I hope these characters continue in the Virgin River series..
Down by the River is the third book in the Grace Valley Trilogy. Carr's books make a great read. She develops the characters very well. You'll finish this wanting more!

A light read, personal relationships and community. I enjoy Robyn's style.
Great Series. This is a continuation of Deep in the Valley and Just Over the Mountain. You have to read the other two in order. It's like one big story.
THERE ARE 3 BOOKS IN THIS SERIES AND THEY ARE ALL GOOD. The story centers around a young, single doctor, June Hudson, who returns to her birth place in Grace Valley to inherit the post of full-time doc from her father.
Good book, engaged me right from the start. Quick read.
Good book
nice end to this 3-book series. enjoy!
This is a great series of books - I love them all.

#3 in the June Hudson/Grace Valley series
I absolutely loved this book! I hate to give it up, but would like ot give someone else a chance to read it!
Aother good read by Robyn Carr....I can't wait to read her next one!!!
Dr. June Hudson's life just keeps getting more complicated. Since she found out about her pregnancy a few days ago, June's belly just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Her lover, Jim Post, is now back in town to stay, and people are talking. Is he going to make an honest woman of her?
This is the third book in the Grace Valley trilogy and lots is happening. The new town preacher is borrowing a lot of money from his friends. What is he doing with it? Aunt Myrna has a new beau she has been exchanging letters with. He's coming to Grace Valley for a visit. Just what will her family think of him?
This was a nice wrap to the series. There was still a lot of things going on with the people in this town. It kept me glued to the book. My rating: 4 Stars.

A very good read.
Once again Robyn Carr creates a spell around the characters.
Fun reading - love the series by Robyn Carr!!
Poker play pastor, Myrna hiding her beau, June the pregnant doctor and a retired undercover agent - appears to be a scandal in this small town.
Book 3 - last of this series; absolutely loved it. Was sorry there were no more.
