This book continues the story told in "Above the Bright Blue Sky" following two evacuee girls during WWII. The story picks up on the eve of VJ Day 1945 and runs through 1951 as the two girls begin their adult life. Another quick, satisfying read from Margaret Thornton, who does this genre of book so well.
