An easy read and a good story. But something was missing. I guess expected more from Terry Jones. (I loved him in Monty Python). The puns just weren't that punny. Otherwise I did enjoy the story.

Good stuff, if not high literary quality. Recommended if you like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Possibly the best story ever written about a parrot.

Huge Douglas Adams fan...never played the game. Didn't really care for the beginning of the book at all...but once got through a few chapters it began to pick up. If you like the Douglas Adams style and books this should be a one to pick up for the collection.

I really liked this book. It has a grand feel to it and of course when you team up Terry Jones with Douglas Adams, well, just read it and see.

The perfect blend of Python and Adams.

This was an okay book. I expected it to be hilarious, but it wasn't. Funny things happened, and it was good for a few laughs, but that was about it. The story was interesting, and it was a quick and easy read. I'm glad I read it, but I probably wouldn't read it again.
