Not actually a book, it's a short play so that disappointed me as when I received it as a wishlist book, I thought it would be the novelization of the screenplay, not the short stage play.
So it is a much shorter version of the story told in the acclaimed movie and has only 4 roles though the other characters are mentioned by these main players.
Though set in the 1960's, the story raises questions much in today's news about just when a suspicion of child molestation should be reported and to whom. Are certain personality characteristics or habits instantly suspect? Is it just gossip or something more? Does the status of the reporter or the status of the suspected molester effect the outcome? Or are we all just too paranoid?
