I absolutely love this book! This is such a cute story about Lady Jasmina, a high-born magic user and Sterling, a lowly baronet who can shape-shift into a beautiful black stallion. It is a throughly fun story with great characters and full of pure heart! This is the second book in The Relics of Merlin series after Enchanting the Lady and I'm anxiously awaiting the next one in the series!

I picked this book up in a thrift store because I liked the cover! Not the usual type of book I'd read but once I started it I was hooked. It was well written, I cared about the lead characters and really enjoyed this historical paranormal romance. There was even some light comedy included, courtesy of a gnome called Nuisance. Enjoy!

Kathryne Kennedy has created such a wonderful world of shapeshifters and magic. Her writing is just terrific. Do try this one and Enchanting the Lady if you haven't already, you won't be sorry!

Second in a series set in an alternate Victorian England where there is magic and magical creatures, this is not quite as good as the first, but still a fun and enjoyable read. It is not necessary to read the series in order as there appears to be (after 3 books) little or no crossover between the stories.
