AUTHOR BIO: John Miller grew up in the heart of Cajun Country in Louisiana, attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. Returning to Cajun Country after serving in the Air Force, John began a career in the newspaper business. His newspaper career spanned over thirty years serving in various newspaper management roles in seven southeastern states. He served as publisher of five mid-sized newspapers, was active in numerous community organizations and Rotary International. John Miller lives in the Mountains of Western North Carolina near Asheville and although retired, remains active.
