Donna Parker's head started to throb, and the telephone shook in her hand. The news she had just received would change the course of her friend Ricky West's life--and her own as well.

It was only the first of the trying situations which she was to face that eventful spring. Ahead loomed graduation, and the unexpected competition for the Outstanding Girl Award. There was the question of a summer vacation in California--could that dream possibly come true? And then there was her part in Bunny's wedding--an experience that would haunt Donna as long as she lived.

Somewhere within herself Donna had to find real wisdom to meet the problems of growing up. She had to find the loyalty to stand by Ricky when disappointment threatened to end their friendship forever, and understanding to help handsome, blond Paul when he turned to her in desperation. Each new day brought its challenge, exciting and disturbing, until Donna was certain that above all others this had become A Spring to Remember.
