I got this book when I first started one stroke painting and had forgotten I had it. Great for beginner with all the brush strokes.

Great book on learning, practicing, and applying your 'strokes' espcially if you are partial to wanting to paint leaves of all types. I loved it.

I ordered this book after deciding to experiment with different styles of painting, for some reason folk art seemed a good idea.
I just received this book from another member,aside the fact that I'm not sure I would describe Donna Dewberry style as folk art, I just don't particularly care for her style, a matter of personal taste.
I would suggest this book to beginners interested in learning to decorate objects, hand-made cards and gifts.
An experienced painter would likely find it unsatisfying.
