I didn't like this book as much as Getting warmer, but it still was a entertaining read. This book was hard to put down and I thought the concept of being 31 and going back to college was a awesome idea. It brought back some memories of being in college.

Cute quick read! Doesn't everyone in their 30's wish they could go back and be a carefree young adult again? Just once? This was a fun book.
Funny and enjoyable.
I like Carol Snow's humor a lot, but this book only rates a "cute". The story line and scenarios are predictable and, although there were a few laugh out loud moments, overall average. I liked her other books better.
To truly enjoy this book, I think you need to be willing to completely suspend disbelief. There are some elements that are completely far-fetched and I found the ending to be unrealistic and, therefore, dissatisfying. The journey is enjoyable - just didn't like the end.
If you're looking for a light, fluffy read, this is for you. Kathy is 32 but appears as if she's 18. This is usually obnoxious, but about to become a positive--at least to her ex-boyfriend, Tim. Tim wants Kathy to go undercover at a small college in order to investigate a story on college girls working as prostitutes. Sooner than she's like, Kathy is back in a dorm, living with a strange roommate and adjusting to college life. She's trying to fit in, but having the super-hot RA's constant attentions is kind of distracting. Not to mention the pressure from her boss and Tim. She only has seven weeks, but that may not be enough.
I think my level of tolerance for chick lit is quickly coming to an end. I just can't get into these things like I used to. This was wasn't bad, and it actually threw a few twists in at the end that I didn't see coming. And the relationship between Kathy and Tim was actually a bit enlightening for me considering my own recent and heart-wrenching breakup. But like any chick lit, don't expect anything too deep.

Loved this book, perhaps because it reminds me of my own experience as a (legitimately) "nontraditional" college student amongst kids, on average, 4 to 6 years my junior. I quibble with some of the blatant stereotypes that Snow tends to embrace, but at least it becomes clear that the stereotypes are mostly in the mind of her narrator. Kathy, the protagonist of the novel, is wimpy in her "real" life and more interesting "undercover," but the book is a fast, compulsive, and entertaining read (if a little light).
I usually read the first sentence of books in my to-read pile in order to decide what to read; this one I read the whole first chapter before I realized I had decided on it. For that alone I would give it an extra star, since even the best books these days tend to begin badly.

This book really bored me. I have a thing about finishing books but I must admit that I stuggled with this one. The characters were boring and under-developed and there wasn't really a point to any of it. I liked the main character and i really wish they would have developed her better.
This is a fun read. I think Carol Snow did a great job of capturing dorm life, and apparently things haven't changed that much in 30 years.. YIKES. This book is light and breezy and quite fun with a few insights into the publishing world of small magazines. I love the fact the heroine was unsure and tentative with her assignment and had great angst over the whole charade... it was a bit more fun that way.... and made her likeable
Start the dream sequence: You're 30 or so, you look like a teenager, you're a reporter, you get a story which places you undercover amid teens, you do the detective work, you get the bad guy, you leave the secret teen life, you stay a grown up. I didn't enjoy the book because the I couldn't believe the main character, nor the entire premise of the book. I'd rather watch Drew Barrymore in "Never Been Kissed" instead of skim through this "great summer read."
