This is one of the best English translations available to anyone unable to read this beautiful novel in the original Spanish. Dr. Jones was one of my professors in college, and his revision of the Ormsby translation brings the English text much closer to its Spanish original. I have read the Quijote a couple of times in the original Spanish (for class - and it made me decide to major in Spanish, that is how powerful this book is). This is the only English translation of it that I ever recommend.

The road to h--l is paved with good intentions. I haven't read it (yet?) Tilting at windmills, need I say more?
