Excellent book on dolls.No publishing date or ISBN given. I love this book--80% of it is amazing pictures of dolls throughout the 19th century & throughout different cultures., I found this beautifully photographed book to very stimulating--densely packed with facts and quotes reflecting on what dolls meant for different cultures during this time. The descriptions the author gives for each photo of the dolls further illuminates cultural significance. Any doll collector or doll maker would benefit greatly from this book.
