Sex. That's what this book is pretty much about (Duh.). How to get it, who to do it with, and are you sure you want it once you get it. But there's some interesting themes running under the surface of the sex. Poor Dino will have you saying "Oh, so stupid Dino!", Jonathan will have you in stitches with his hilarious dialogue, and Ben will make you think. Of course, there are spots where you go "Ick. Is that really how guys think?" But you know it probably is. Definitely a good read! It's staying on my bookshelf!
A Young Adult book left behind by one of my students. Same author as the book Smack. A bit juvenile, but interesting for its commentary of British teen (primarily male) sexuality.
I thought this book was hilarious. I laughed out loud many times while reading it. It's written using lots of British slang, which is partly what makes it so funny. Sometimes it takes a second or two to realize what body parts or activities the characters are referring to, but once you figure it out, it's so funny to think about how a different culture in a different country refers to things. It's definitely a story for teenagers/young adults, but well-written and very entertaining nonetheless!
This book is great. It was funny, and completely sinsear. Highly recommend.
Thank goodness for the internet, otherwise I wouldn't have figured out what shagging, snogging and wanking are.
This a book about boys and girls and sex. It mainly deals with 3 boys who pick up girls and their feelings.
