I have read a significant amount of books which relate to animal behaviors, training advice, animal emotions and the reasons why dogs do what they do. This is a wonderful publication that is not overly technical. With every piece of advice or factual information which the author provides, she shares actual experiences. When I began reading this book, it was immediately apparent that the author has done her homework/research. She delivers a common sense approach on how to build and sustain a happy and healthy relationship with your dog; she also helps us to better understand what we need to do in order to fulfill our role in the relationship we have with our dogs and the rewards we can expect if we do our part effectively. I highly recommend this book to all animal lovers and those who want to get the most out of their relationship with their pets.
