I don't usually read romance or beach books, but glad I made an exception for Dog Friendly. It is a very sweet story full of waves and dogs. The author provides good insight into the stress and emotional exhaustion veterinarians can face.

I'm not sure what the cover of this book has to do with anything though. There was a brief mention of someone thinking it would be nice to see two dogs running on the beach with a piece of driftwood, but the two labs are not in the story. There are lots of other dog characters.
