pretty good book, it really surprises you at the end. The only thing I didn't care for was that the main character daydreams throughout the book , which threw me off, so I skipped most of the day dreams.

A thoroughly enjoyable book that left me wanting more! Alisa Kwitney writes with great New York wit that leaves you laughing out loud! I loved it!

I really liked this book. Any housewife can identify with it. She has fantasys throughout the book about the plumber. There was alot of hard sex scenes towards the end that I could have done without, but otherwise a good, fun book.

I wasn't really impressed with this book. I ended up skipping over all the fantasy parts, cause I thought they were just boring. It took almost to the end of the book for it to get exciting. But I stuck with it!

Alisa Kwitney's second novel isn't a crafty as The Dominant Blonde. The book starts each chapter with the main character's secret fantasies. Unfortunately, I think it takes away from the potential of what the story could have been. There were just too many of them.
Delilah Levine has a husband who shows minimal attention to her and a daughter who seems pretty well adjust considering the fact she has a flaky mother. Delilah becomes attracted to her new plumber, Ford. He spends a lot of time at the crazy Levine house "fixing" the building's pipes. As her life goes out of control, Delilah finds herself spending more time with Ford. Her husband, Jason, is a corporate lawyer at a company that is developing a new aphrodisiac called Biosensual.

Delilah finds her husband's notes on the top-secret project on the backside of the soap opera script she just submitted. Well, the producers love her "long" notes and want her to flush out a corporate espionage storyline around the aphrodisiac drug. After she shares with her husbands boss her great story idea, accidents keep happening to her.

With Ford's help, Delilah gets to the bottom. However, you will be thrown for a loop as well. Much of the story comes at you from behind a corner. Overall, a good read.

Fun, lighthearted reading. Beach-read material. Story of a woman who prefers her fantasy lives to her real one, and her plumber who stars in those fantasies. Turns out her real life isn't so dull after all. I got a bit tired of the different fantasy scenarios, and the real situation is extremely far-fetched. But it's still fun and sexy.

It was ok. It's a mystery, chick lit. erotica type of story. It's not deep read.

One of the worst books I've read recently. I completely skipped over the fantasy parts; I found them very boring. Other then a few humorous quips, this books is awful.

Enjoyed the writing style, easy to read, quick and funny but this seemed to be more romance/mystery vs chick lit. I could do without all the steamy sex scenes. Nor was I impressed with Deliah's character, without giving anything away, you'll figure it out.

It was a good book but nothing super special. Easy read.

The disorganization of the main character drove me nuts, but I still wanted to keep reading. Unique story.

I don't know why this is under mystery & thrillers. It's more of a romance/chick lit book.

Book Description

Passion. The kind of tear-your-clothes off, scream-your-lungs-out, crash-into-the-furniture passion that changes lives.

It's what Delilah wants. It's what she craves. It's what she fantasizes about whenever her disinterested husband's not around. Okay, so it occasionally makes her late for the school run and distracts her from the fact there's no food in the fridge, but an elaborate fantasy life is a basic requirement for a fledgling soap opera writer.

Lately, though, the oddest things have been happening in Delilah's real life. First, she discovers a couple of skeletons rattling around in her husband's closet. Then, she learns that the insolently sexy plumber who's been fixing her pipes and starring in her daydreams is really an undercover FBI agent. And now all the clues seem to point to the conclusion that she's the only person in New York City not carrying on a torrid affair. Which she intends to do something about. Or does she?

Because there's nothing more dangerous than acting on your secret desire.

MomLit. Delilah is a fledgling soap opera writer, married in a blah sort of way and fantasizing about the new plumber in the apartment building who smolders. Then she finds that not all as it seems and maybe real life is as unbelievable as a soap opera.

Good one.

Mostly a light read, albeit far-fetched with a sloppy plot, IMO, about a stay-at-home mom who can't seem to get anything right around the house. Her husband is distant and disapproving and she finds herself fantasizing about the plumber sent to repair a leak.

Soon her real life is as outlandish as her fantasies (most of which I just skipped over because I didn't really find them all that interesting).
