This is a Terry Pratchett novel. Which, for me, means I know it is a great read before I even open the front cover. But unlike his Disc-World and other fantasy books, this one was even better, as it combined fantasy and historical characters. What made it even more interesting is that the main character was a character from one of the novels of one of the historical figures.
