This book is an excellent epic adventure with a loveable heroine...this is the second book in the seriesand picks up with Paks, the heroine after serving her time in a mercenary company and folows her journey through more advanced training and several exiting adventures.

Elizabeth Moon is an excellent fantasy writer. Divided Allegiance is the third and final book in The Deeds of Paksenarrion trilogy about a female soldier who ran away from home and dreams of becoming a paladin. As she rises in skill, she loses friends, she encounters strange beasts and an evil spider god. Oddly, no romance or sex for our heroine.
