What a great series this is! It was so hard not to sit down and read the whole thing at once. Of course Sophie and Co. cannot get through the holidays without a murder to solve and almost every family member has some drama going on to boot. One of the best cozy series I've read.

Now ordering all the rest of hers. I really enjoyed it and the characters were so much fun. I enjoy a cozy mystery. This one is really wonderful with good characters and a very compelling read. I finished it in two days. If it's not a good read it sits around! This one is wonderful.

Again, a good mystery that kept me guessing until the end. I did miss Wolf in this book but luckily he is still around. The only problem I ever have is that there are so many characters that I cannot always keep them straight! Otherwise, looking forward to the next one!

This is the first of this series Ive read and found it to be quite entertaining I picked it up basically because the cover was so festive and I know back in the days my families used to cook geese for Christmas but not recently. It was entertaining, fast moving, with delightful amusing characters! The tips at the beginning of each chapter as to how to get better organized often made me chuckle up a storm. Recipes are always fun and did add to the fun of this mystery. All the pets with the new mysterious little Ragdoll kittens were adorable and the families all put together were quite a bunch making for really good reading! I will read more of this series.

I love anything by Krista Davis, she is awesome, and this series is awesome. I did not read these books in order and it really isn't necessary. The character development doesn't move fast enough that you need to, so books out of order works.
This book starts right on Christmas. No leading up, just smack dab in the thick of it. The rest of the book centers after Christmas. I was all caught up in the festivities the author draws up for us that I was completely surprised by the murder and my mind raced to find who did it, why, where, what? lol I enjoyed this book just as much as any of the others I have read so far by Krista. This series should not be missed by any reader of cozies, mysteries ect.. There are recipes in the back as usual for Christmas dishes, and at the start of each chapter as is in all of her books she starts with a Dear Sophie or Natasha(Abby) and these are really interesting, and offer some great advice. The story was so full of wow moments and almost every chapter had a climax. I love when you end on a chapter with your mouth hanging open, so that you just have to keep reading on into the next chapter. 5 stars always for Krista.
