I LOVED this book!!! I ordered it based on a review I read in a magazine, just thought it sounded interesting...was pleasantly surprised to learn that it will be part of a trilogy...the sad news is that I have to wait for a sequel! Also kind of hoping someone gets movie rights.
Here is my one complaint, if it can be considered that. I only gave 4.5 stars as there were a couple of scenes that were a bit awkward to listen to, as they were beginning to get a bit racy...overall, though, I was glad to find out that this book was NOT largely a smut romance. There is romance involved, but it takes its time, and out of the 20 cds, there were only about 2 scenes that made me a little uncomfortable. So, just a little warning if those kinds of things make you squeamish, but otherwise the romance aspect of this story is quite tastefully done in my opinion, and the adventure, intrigue and twists-n-turns made me wanna keep driving somewhere (listened primarily in the car).!
