Another darling book by Baby's First Book Club (later "issued" by Lamaze). This thick, soft, lift-the-flap book is full of surprises for baby, who learns about the animals on a farm and the noises they make. The cover has a built-in rattle. Inside are 8 brightly colored pages with different animals. The book closes with a velcro "baby cow" tab. The first page has a soft silky egg with a removable baby chick. The next page has cute pigs with a curly tail to touch. Followed by sheep with fuzzy coats to feel. Next is a large felt duck that snaps off. A fuzzy removeable brown pony follows on the next page. You can attach the "baby cow" tab on the "cow" page. The final two pages have animals hiding behind felt flaps of food in the barn.
