Book of 35 short summaries (1-8 pages) of famous disappearances-- everything from the Royal Princes in the Tower of London to Amelia Earhart, Agatha Christie's 10 day absence, Jimmy Hoffa, and Glenn Miller. The pages are filled with wonderful historic black and white photos and inset boxes containing quotes from the missing or their loved ones. Some lack info easily found on the internet today. There are other books much better researched on ship disappearances-- one to look up is "Ghost Ships".
