I gave up after 100 pages of NOTHING

It starts off quickly with the disappearance of 13 yr old Tommy, okay here we go? It just goes into Tremblay just rambling on and on about zombies? kid stuff? silly dialogue?

I didn't get anything out of the 100 pages I struggled through so I read some reviews and got most of the story and glad I didn't try to finish

It has not 'horror' to it, more mystery than anything and nothing happens until close to the end (according to reviews)

I've tried Tremblay before and I don't like his writing or his stories so this is one author not for me but good luck to you if you like him
